To help facilitate communication with our preschool families, the teachers post daily notes at our pick-up points at the end of each school day. We offer parent teacher conferences twice yearly and our teachers are available by phone and email as needed.
Each child is given a class folder to be used by teachers and parents to send information back and forth between school and home. The teachers check the folders daily during arrival time.
The entire staff collaborates to prepare a monthly newsletter for our preschool families. Attached to each month’s newsletter is a calendar with scheduled events, classroom themes and snack week rotation. Along with our preschool newsletter, each family receives a copy of our church newsletter, Travelog. We invite and welcome all of our preschool families to join us for the events, activities, and worship opportunities offered at King of Kings Lutheran Church. For more information about our church and ministries, please contact our church office at 703-378-7272 or visit our church website at www.kofk.org.
